A good celebrity role model is hard to find. George Clooney is our pick for this months Celebrity Role Model and here are 6 very simple ways you can be more like him.
We all know he is probably one of the most attractive gentlemen in the world today and the reason is simple.
He has the perfect mix of style, confidence, attitude, smile, and is always fun to be around.
If you use him as a roll model and learn from his example, you can be just as attractive and successful as him.
What can you do to be more like George Clooney?
Lets Start with Style
This is the easiest thing to change and you can do it today with a quick trip to the mall. Google George Clooney and look at all his pictures online. What do you see? George has mastered the simple modern gentlemen look.
Most of the time, he is wearing a dark suit and usually paired with a dark colored shirt. That suit is fitted to him perfectly. Let me say this again.
THAT SUIT IS FITTED TO HIM PERFECTLY! I truly believe if you cannot wear a properly fitted suit, then don’t wear one at all!
When you buy a suit, the standard is the pants will be 6 inches smaller then the pants. If you wear a 32 waist, then your jacket size will be a 38. If your jacket is a 42, then your pants will be a 36. This is how off the rack suits are made.
If you have different measurements, you must buy your suit jacket and pants ‘separately’. When you buy the suit separately, you can match the jacket to your upper body and the pants to your lower body and save a lot of money in tailor costs.
The suit should still be tailored but if you are in a crunch and need a suit today, this is the way to go.
Even if your life doesn’t need a suit, buy a few and wear them. You cannot capture this classic style without a fitted suit.
I would say 90% of the time George is wearing a jacket and totally rocking it. But there are a few times you can see him wearing a black shirt, jeans, and a black leather jacket. This is the second look to get.
Simple is key here. No crazy colors or trendy styles in George’s closet.
Simple, classic, and elegant is the goal for this style. Also note he is not trying to look 20 years younger than he is. He can wear leather jacket, jeans, and a black tee and still look age appropriate.
Lastly, get a haircut, nice pair of shoes (ladies always notice a guy’s shoes), and make sure you smell nice. How can you have confidence without arrogance? Follow these rules.
The first thing is to reprogram your brain. You must believe 100% that you are going to succeed. Don’t ever start talking to a person with any doubt or fear in your head because that will be all you communicate to them.
Confidence is simply your belief in yourself and the idea that you will be successful. Once you believe this, you will show it in the little things you do everyday and instantly be more confident and attractive.
One key difference between being confident and arrogant is the subject of your conversation. Never talk about how great or successful you are.
Confident people will always complement other people and make the conversation about them. This in turn will make you more likable which is always a good thing.
Once you believe in yourself, you need to show this in the little things you do.
People can quickly pick up this form of nonverbal communication. When you feel fully confident in yourself, you will naturally do other things when you interact with other people.
You will not divert your glaze when you make eye contact, your smile will naturally appear, you will feel more comfortable around other people and engage in conversation easily, and your body language will show a much more relaxed posture. This will take practice!
Have Humility
Now that you know you will be successful, you need to be more humble about yourself. No one wants to hear you talk about all your successes in life.
Bragging is never an attractive quality. Look for qualities in other people and learn from them.
Never see yourself as the greatest person in the room. See yourself as the greatest student in the world and everyone else is your teacher.
Take learning as a growth opportunity to help you succeed. A gentleman is always well read and up to date on current affairs. Political views aside, learn how to stand up for your views and be accepting of other peoples opposing opinions.

Let me break this to you. You are not perfect so don’t try to pretend you are.

We all know George is incredibly charming and this is one of the core reasons why he has been so successful in his life. His charm combined with his confidence allows him not take himself too serious and this makes him more likable. This may be hard for some people but is a critical step to find true happiness in life. You must know what you believe in order to set your direction in life. Make sure you reflect on this often because life is always changing and you need to keep up with it.
It is also critical for you to know your own limitations in life and embrace them. Do not pretend or hide from reality but rather get over them if you can or accept them if you cannot.
See the world (and yourself) as it truly is, decide when you want to go in life, and then make it happen. Life is really that simple!
Genuine people are those who have great self-esteem. They can be open with other people because they are not hiding anything. They are in fact an open book.
When you lie to yourself and to others, you automatically become guarded and always defensive. When you are genuine and open, you are able to connect with others and truly build new friendships and relationships.
